Expanding Gin Festival to debut at Bournemouth International Centre

The UK’s first and biggest touring gin festival is returning to Bournemouth from 4-5 May 2018.

Although this will be the festival’s third year in Bournemouth, it will be the first year that the event is hosted at Bournemouth International Centre.

From small craft distilleries using locally-foraged botanicals to exotic contemporary gins in fantastic flavours, there’s something for every palate.

“After previously holding sold out festivals at Bournemouth Pavilion for the last few years, we thought it’s time we upped our game (and our capacity) so more gin lovers of Bournemouth get the opportunity to come along and enjoy the gin!” says Naomi Good, Event Director at GinFestival.com.

“Only a stone’s throw from our original venue, Bournemouth International Centre seemed like a great step-up for our festival, allowing us further space for a few exciting extras including more bars and brands.’”

Guests will be gifted their very own copa glass on arrival, with a Gin Explorer booklet to guide them through their Gin Festival journey. The booklet will contain tasting notes with garnish and tonic recommendations, along with useful information and articles of interest.

Brands currently booked in for the festival include Brockmans, Conker Gin and PJ Gin.

The event is strictly over 18s only.

Tickets can only be purchased from ginfestival.com

Notes to Editors:

A token system is in place to exchange for drinks. No card or cash facilities will be available at the bars, so guests will need to make a pit stop at the available top up stations on arrival to purchase their tokens.  A top-up glass gin and tonic is priced at £5, the equivalent to 1 token.

Tokens are non-refundable but can be used towards products on the Gin Shop.
